Motion: springs, not easing curves. Use this closed-form spring for every move: p(dt) = 1 − (1 + ω·dt)·e^(−ω·dt), ω = √40 ≈ 6.32, where dt is seconds since the move started (p = 0 before). It settles in about a second and never bounces.
