Cut your enquiry form to four boxes

Step 1, on your website (about five minutes). Open your enquiry or quote form on your phone. For every box, drop-down and tick box, write down:
a) the label or question, exactly as it's worded;
b) whether it's required (usually marked with *);
c) the wording next to any tick box, and whether it's already ticked;
d) the button text, and any text under it;
e) what you actually do with each answer once the form arrives. Be honest: "nothing until we ring them back" is a common answer.
Also note what happens after someone sends it (a thank-you page, a message, an automatic email), and how soon you really reply in a normal week.
